I have been passionate about makeup for over 10 years, with 3 years of professional experience in the industry. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to work in well-known salons, including Darya Salon and RJ Miller Salon in Nantucket, where I have been employed since 2022 and continue to work presently.
In addition to my salon experience, I am also a dedicated freelance makeup artist. I have worked with numerous brides and clients, helping them look and feel their best for weddings, special occasions, and events. My focus is always on enhancing natural beauty and boosting confidence through personalized, high-quality makeup services.
With a combination of salon expertise and freelance experience, I bring versatility and professionalism to every client I work with.

I completed my makeup training at Makeup Academy by Tanya Hristova in Sofia, Bulgaria. This academy greatly enhanced my skills and techniques, providing me with a strong foundation in professional makeup artistry. However, my passion for makeup began long before that. From a young age, I taught myself through practice and by watching countless tutorials, continuously improving my craft over the years.
In addition to my formal education, I gained valuable experience working as a freelance makeup artist in Bulgaria, creating makeup looks for proms and other special events. This combination of professional training and self-taught passion has shaped me into the makeup artist I am today.

I am available most days, with some dates reserved for prior bookings. I am happy to discuss availability and accommodate clients whenever possible.
What do you believe are your greatest STRENGTHS as an artist?
One of my greatest strengths is my attention to detail. I take pride in enhancing each client’s natural beauty, ensuring they feel confident and radiant. I am highly precise and careful, always striving for a flawless finish tailored to each individual’s features. My goal is not just to apply makeup but to illuminate and celebrate the person behind it.
In addition to precision, I am creative and versatile, able to adapt to different styles and occasions — whether it’s soft, natural looks or bold, glamorous transformations. I am also patient and empathetic, understanding that makeup is a personal experience. I listen carefully to my clients’ preferences to ensure they feel comfortable and beautiful in their own skin.
I’m passionate about continuous learning, constantly refining my skills to stay updated with the latest trends and techniques. My dedication to high standards and genuine care for my clients is what sets me apart.
What do you believe are your greatest CHALLENGES as an artist?
One of the main challenges I’ve faced as a makeup artist is working under time pressure, especially during large events like weddings or photoshoots where multiple clients need to be ready within a limited timeframe. Balancing speed with precision can be difficult, but over time, I’ve developed strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to maintain high-quality results, even under pressure.
Another challenge has been working with different skin types and conditions. Every client is unique, and some may have sensitive skin, texture, or concerns that require adjustments in products or technique. Through experience, I’ve learned to adapt quickly, using my knowledge of skincare and makeup products to find the best solutions for each individual.
Additionally, handling last-minute changes is a challenge I often encounter — whether it’s a client changing their desired look or unexpected circumstances on set. I’ve learned to stay calm, flexible, and solution-oriented, which helps me navigate these situations while keeping the client comfortable and happy.
These challenges have not only made me a stronger artist but have also taught me the importance of patience, adaptability, and maintaining a positive attitude in every situation.
