Bio: Marie Barokas – Makeup Artist & Nail Specialist

Marie Barokas is a highly skilled makeup artist and nail specialist with over 17 years of experience delivering luxury beauty services for private clients, celebrity clientele, editorial productions, and high-profile events. She began her career in Seattle, WA, working at private athletic clubs, bridal companies, and boudoir photography studios, before moving to New York in 2011 to join the prestigious John Barrett Salon at Bergdorf Goodman.

In New York, Marie quickly established herself as a trusted artist for editorial and fashion shoots, contributing to Vogue, Marie Claire, Interview, Elle, and Seventeen Magazine. She has provided services for celebrity clients including Martha Stewart, Paul McCartney, Giada De Laurentiis, Jessica Stam, Kathy Hilton, Gigi Hadid, Kathy Najimy, The Jonas Brothers, Brooke Shields, Christian Serratos, and Mae Whitman. Her fashion experience extends to New York Fashion Week since 2012, collaborating with designers such as Carolina Herrera, Calvin Klein, Alice & Olivia, Altuzarra, Naeem Khan, Christian Siriano, Alexander Wang, and Oscar de la Renta.
