Bride Style Information
Wedding Style
We are going for a laid back, boho-lite feel. Our main colors are terracotta/rust and a sage-like green. Globe Dye Works is a beautiful industrial space, so we're leaning into that by using lots of uplighting rather than relying on florals. We opted for a donut cake from Federal Donuts over a traditional wedding cake, are setting up a Polaroid station, and will have Mario Kart set up in the lounge space!
Personal Style
I'm usually a tee-shirt and joggers/jeans sort of person! My day-to-day makeup consists of concealer and powder (or it cosmetics CC cream if I'm feeling fancy), mascara, and brow pencil - sometimes a nude lipstick. For more formal occasions, I'll add in eyeshadow and a more fun color on my lips. Since I'm half scientist/half spin instructor, I usually just throw my hair in a messy bun/pony. But when I have the time, I like to straighten it and tie some of it back. For the wedding, I am looking for soft/medium glam, with good skin coverage since my face/neck are somewhat blotchy in tone. If it helps: my wedding dress is Jenny Yoo's Lourdes from BHLDN :)
Hair Ideas
I've been mostly eyeing half up/half down looks with very easygoing waves (I know I mentioned this on the phone but wanted to write it again - I'd much rather have loose waves that fall out throughout the day than using lots of spray to keep tighter curls intact!). Instead of a veil, I will have a decorative floral hair comb. Since my dress is more on the boho side, I'd rather my hair lean towards casual rather than strictly formal. If the artist thinks that my hair isn't suitable to this kind of look, I'm open to updos as backup.
Hair Concerns
Based on my trial with another company, I'm worried that my hair may be too thin for a full 50/50 on hair up/down. If your artist agrees, it may be worth doing most of the hair down with only some tied up. I know this will sound weird, but I'd prefer hairspray that doesn't have the strongest hold. In the past, this level of product makes my hair stick together and frizz out whenever I try moving it, so I'd prefer having a more natural feel. I do understand that this may cause waves/curls to fall and would prefer that over unmovable hair! As mentioned in our call, I've included some photos from my previous trial to highlight things I didn't love.

Makeup Ideas
soft-to-medium glam with a high level of coverage (I have uneven skin tones on my face and some acne marks on my chin). I'd want lashes, and am considering airbrush makeup. Leaning toward a more nude/subtle lip color, and would want to fill out my brows
Makeup Concerns
My cheeks are usually a bit red, and sometimes that + blush makes me look almost ill! But if my cheek redness can be color corrected we should be in the clear :) My brows are more like cousins than twins, let alone sisters, so they may need a little more attention when filling them out. Waterproof makeup wherever possible would be great! As mentioned in our call, I've included some photos from my previous trial to highlight things I didn't love.
